For every Visible spectrum (colour) is there also invisible colours?
Paul has the EM spectrum broken down for you. One thing I would like to add is that the light we see in the visible spectrum, is just smaller than one full octave of light. We can hear several octaves of sound, a low E and a high E are similar, I would only imagine that a low blue (in infrared) and what we call blue (visible light) would share similar properties in how we would see them, but they would be different colors, just like the two E's are different notes. To say for certain how a shorter or longer wavelength would be processed by our optical nerves and our brain is impossible, however.
Dual military separation issues....?
If I violated no contact order was arrested will I have to move on post even though we live in different house holds? We do have a baby and we both have full furnished homes. Also if I'm doing community service from civil court can military also have me do extra duty? Or does the community service count as extra duty? I didn't know if by army regulation you can be punished 2 times for one cause. Regulation would be helpful
Long and Complex question...?
I was arrested in 06 for criminal mischeif for throwing a beer bottle at a sign at a party I did not hit the sign but was forced into confession by the chief investigator who also smoked pot with the family pushing my arrest, anyways I was denied the right to my phone call and an attorney until after the police forced me to say that I did hit the sign or I would have to sit in jail for 3 days and the would make sure I faced serious jail time(i was scared and only 18 at the time) so I said what they told me to say. I was in and out of court for 15 months and they kept postponing my courtdate for another month, the my public defender who was friends with the judge and chief investigator told me to plead guilty though I was denying that I did anything illegal he said that if I did this the I would get 1-2 yrs probation max and have to pay for the sign and just so all this would finally be over I plead guilty and the judge gave me 5yrs probation and a felony charge for a sign! So 1 1/2 yrs ago I stopped going to my P.O.s because he made me take a drug class even tho I never failed a drug test for him the last one I failed was about 1 1/2 yr before that with a dif. P.O. The class was once a week and I was staying 2 hrs away working and could not afford the gashomosexual remarks to me and I don't trust the law or judicial systems anymore bc they screwed my life up so I did not report him I just stopped going. And now with just 1 yr left on my probatiom the quire P.O. Violated my probation for using illegal drugs(it has been 3+yrs since I smoked pot) and failure to attend the drug class which I should have never had to attend in the first place. With all that said I guess my question is, what can I do to get this taken care of without facing jail time? And just because I have a bench warrant out does that mean I will most lilely face jail time or could I get all this dropped with a decent attorney under the circumstances?..
Anyone else having problems with Kaspersky Anti Virus today?
All of a sudden my anti virus is not working it says license agreement has been violated but we have not done anything different, we only use the same license on 2 computers in my household, have not had a problem in 2 years !! What could be happening?
Don't both Affirmative Action and profiling violate the 14th Amendment?
Affirmative Action IS profiling. It's hiring based on skin color. If cops started pulling over car loads of blacks, Hispanics, Asians, etc., really anything but whitey, the ACLU would be having a collective stroke over it.
Is this the missing piece of the puzzle to improving society?
no, people are idiots, we are just one step up on the ladder above drawing pictures in caves, and 2 steps above swinging in trees and throwing poop at each other. its going to take several thousand more years before as a species we are considered intelligent.
