Can my hamster eat this?

I just bought my hamster (teddy bear hamster) bedding that I have never used before. It has real dried rose petals and buds, and I was wondering if it is safe for her to eat them. She wanted to eat one but I didn't know if it is safe or not so I just wanted to make sure. Thank you. :)
