I am trying to hybridize a rose. I took my rose, removed the petals and pollen sacs a day before the flower opened. Meanwhile I had pollen from another rose saved. When I went to pollinate my rose today, by accident the rose I wanted to pollinate was near a rose like it. I quickly put the pollen from the other rose on it. Being 2 types of pollen got on the flower, will it have hybrid offspring, or was the first pollen ( the wrong one) the only pollen it accepts?
